First words

Well, I finally did it! I went and got a website. It's been several years between the inspiration and the application but... here ya go. Thanks to the encouragement (read: coercion) of my wife, Nadine, and my bass player, Jeff Sohn, I took the bull by the horns and made the leap into cyberspace. I've resisted for years simply because I feared the unknown. But the time has come to look my ignorance squarely in the face and trust that I CAN do this.

Sometimes fear of failure can paralyze a person into doing nothing and therefore, failing. I have been willing, yea even eager, to have a website but I wanted it to be "right." I wanted it to be cool and artistic. If I wasn't going to have it done perfectly, I would have no part of it, by God! Well, that's a bit like cutting off my nose to spite my face. It's a lose-lose proposition. So, I've swallowed my pride and accepted my economic realities and this is where it's gotten me: my very own website.

I put out a call for an affordable way to make it happen and got an immediate cure for all that ailed me. A suggestion came in from the Guitartown board on Yahoo which led to my discovery of an affordable way to jump on the Information Superhighway. Thanks to Robin Hinnant, from Milestone Artist Representation, for the "heads up"!

I hope I have lots to report in the coming year. Here's to a great 2005 for everyone.
